But first let’s break some stereotypes and start looking at the real facts throughout the entire lifecycle of a garment.
We use GreenDefence because it incorporates a built-in antibacterial function to our garments that stops bacterial growth and reduces odors without using harmful chemicals.
GreenDefence is a patented, revolutionary, anti-bacterial technology that integrates natural ingredients such as almond extract or cinnamon waste into polyester, recycled polyester, or nylon chips.
Because GreenDefence is part of the manufacturing process, the material retains its structural and eco-friendly qualities regardless of multiple laundry washes or exposure to bacteria.
GreenDefence offers a performant product that is not processed with heavy metals or poisonous disinfectants. Certified by Intertek and SGS, it conforms to the strict standards of ISO, JIS, AATCC, and ASTM.

rPET (recycled polyester) is made of re-formed polymers gathered from post-consumer plastic bottles or post-industrial manufacturing packaging.
rPET consumes less energy than producing virgin polyester and keeps bottles and other plastics out of the landfills.
Unlike natural fibres, polyester is exceptionally durable. It also resists to stretching, shrinking, and does not wrinkle. It is easy to wash, dries fast, needs no ironing, and keeps its shape. Sweat simply evaporates through the garment because of its low level of absorption.
Certain functions can be added to the fibre directly during the extruding process, giving the garment targeted purposes such as sweat-wicking, anti-crease finish, or anti-bacterial properties.
Recycled polyester is comfortable, functional, and sustainable. That is why we are switching all of our products to rPET.
We use Bamboo fabric for our garments because it is extremely soft and breathes well. Its moisture wicking and moisture absorption properties are more efficient than those of regular cotton or microfibre, and it’s insulating properties will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Bamboo fibre also has natural antibacterial qualities. A unique antimicrobial bio-agent called “bamboo kun” is found naturally in the fibre and makes bamboo anti-fungal and odour resistant.
Bamboo fibre is a better alternative to conventionally grown cotton, which is still one of the most widely cultivated crops in the world.
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. Needing little water and no pesticides or fertilizers, it is easy to harvest. It replenishes quickly and plentifully, absorbing greenhouse gases during its life, while its strong roots prevent erosion.
Made from regenerated bamboo cellulose, the plant’s natural polymer is transformed into viscose, a soft and silky fibre that feels amazing to the touch and is great for people with skin allergies. At the end of its lifecycle bamboo viscose will biodegrade.

bluesign® is a management system for manufacturers to commit to higher environmental, health, and safety standards. It eliminates harmful substances right from the beginning of the manufacturing process and sets and controls standards for a safe production.
bluesign® analyses each step in the textile supply chain and only approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the customers. Textile producers regularly report their progress in energy, water, and chemical usage and are subject to on-site audits.
Assessments are based on ecotoxicological impact and performances are ranked within five key areas of the production process: resource productivity, consumer safety, water emissions, air emissions, and occupational health and safety.

Wicking fabrics are modern technical fabrics which draw moisture away from the body. They are made of high-tech polyester, which, unlike cotton, absorbs very little water. Cotton will absorb 7% of its weight in water, polyester only 0.4%.
Clothes made of polyester can be washed less frequently, dry fast and do not need to be ironed, which means they have a lower carbon footprint and use less water than clothes made of regular cotton.
We use polyester fabrics for our garments because synthetic fibres are significantly more durable than natural ones. Resistant to stretching, shrinking, and wrinkling, it is easy to wash, dries quickly, and does not lose its shape.
